1. Overview

This policy explains when payments for Himish's optional paid features can be refunded or cancelled. It applies to everyone who buys a paid upgrade on Himish.

Himish is operated by Postersz, Inc. D/B/A Himish ("Himish," "we," "us"). Using Himish is free. Paid upgrades are optional — you never have to pay to use the core product.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number; Stripe handles card data. Any refund we issue is returned to your original payment method through Stripe and can take several business days to appear.

2. What you can buy

Paid upgrades are digital promotional services — we're selling placement and visibility on Himish, not physical goods. The current paid options are:

  • Boosted listing — elevated placement for one listing for a fixed block (7, 30, or 90 days). One-time charge at $5/day for individual ads, $10/day for company ads (so a 30-day company boost is $300).
  • Verified — a "verified" badge on a company page. Sold as an annual subscription at $260/year that renews automatically every 12 months until you cancel.
  • Sponsor — promoted/sponsored placement tied to a location or category ("slot"). One-time, at $49/day per slot for a buyer-picked block of 7, 30, or 90 days.

3. The general rule

Because these are digital services that are delivered immediately, paid upgrades are generally non-refundable once the placement or badge goes live. The exceptions below are where we'll make things right.

We will refund you when:

  • You were charged but the upgrade was never activated.
  • A technical fault on our side meant your placement or badge didn't run for the period you paid for (we'll refund the affected time, or re-run it — your choice).
  • You were charged in error or charged twice.

We generally will not refund:

  • Time that has already run on a live placement or badge.
  • A placement that performed below your hopes — we sell visibility, not a guaranteed number of views, leads, calls, or sales (see §7).
  • A placement removed because the content broke our rules or the law.

4. Refund terms by product

Boosted listing (one-time block; $5/day IND or $10/day CO × 7, 30, or 90 days) Refundable in full only if you cancel before the boost goes live. Once it's live the boost is delivering immediately, so it is non-refundable and not pro-rated. It auto-expires at the end of the term — there's nothing to cancel.

Verified ($260 / year, annual subscription, auto-renews) You can request a full refund within 14 days of your first purchase, as long as the badge hasn't been a material part of how your page was presented during that window. After 14 days, the current term is non-refundable. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from Billing & subscriptions in your account (see §5). Cancelling stops the next annual charge — it does not refund the term you're already in, and your badge stays active until the end of the paid term.

Sponsor (placement / slot; $49/day × 7, 30, or 90 days) Refundable in full only if you cancel before the sponsored placement goes live. Once live it is non-refundable and not pro-rated, because you're buying a reserved promotional slot for a set period. If we end your placement early for reasons that aren't your fault (for example, we discontinue that slot), we'll refund the unused portion on a pro-rated basis.

5. Auto-renewal & cancellation

Verified is sold as an annual subscription that renews automatically every 12 months at $260/year until you cancel. Boost and Sponsor are one-time, fixed-block purchases (7, 30, or 90 days) that do not auto-renew — when the block ends, the placement reverts to standard and there is nothing to cancel.

For your Verified subscription:

  • Before you pay, we clearly disclose that the subscription renews automatically, how much it costs ($260/year), how often you're billed (once per year), and how to cancel.
  • It renews automatically at the then-current price unless you cancel before the renewal date.
  • You can cancel at any time from **Billing & subscriptions** in your account — the same online surface you used to subscribe. Cancellation is as easy as sign-up. If you'd rather reach a person, contact us at support@himish.com.
  • Cancelling stops future charges. It does not refund the period you've already paid for, and your Verified badge stays active until the end of the paid term.
  • If a renewal charge fails, Stripe retries on a fixed schedule (typically over about a week). Your badge stays active while we attempt to collect; if collection ultimately fails, the badge drops and we'll let you know.

6. How to request a refund

Email support@himish.com from the account that made the purchase, with the company/listing name and the date of charge. We aim to respond within 3-5 business days. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method via Stripe.

7. What we're promising

A Boosted or Sponsor placement buys more visibility for a set time and place. A Verified badge indicates the page completed our claim/verification step. We do not promise any specific result — number of views, leads, calls, customers, or revenue — and not getting the result you hoped for is not, on its own, grounds for a refund.

8. Chargebacks & disputes

If you believe you were charged in error, contact us first — we can usually fix it faster than your bank. If a chargeback is filed, we may pause or remove the related placement or badge and may suspend the account pending resolution. We reserve the right to recover amounts owed and to decline future paid features for accounts with abusive chargeback activity.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Changes apply to purchases made after the new version's effective date. The version in effect when you bought applies to that purchase.
